I IS LEGAL TO PULL THE METER. you own the meter. you also own the wires going up to the SPLICES OR BUGS where the wire is spliced to the service. just call the power company to let them know, you pulled the head.

just go outside to your meter and pull off the meter head. then plug you genny in to any outlet and you will have power for your house, safe easy just tap up the meter box to be safe. electricians will see this and know it is safe.

how come people don't use there cars battery and just run there care once in a while, this is a much more efficient means of running and you will use less fuel. then you don't have to carry a genny. and your car battery and the alternator will supply more amps than any generator can. you can even buy a battery and just hook up a cord to the cigarette lighter to charge the battery once in a while.

you caould also get a battery and hook up a small solar panel to charge it during the week when not in use. then you could be GREEN...

When I had my module radio futaba radio 9cap. It was module based and you had to set up the radio as ppm instead of PCM because the radio had to have error correction disabled for the fasst to work right.because of this there is a delay in transmit time as compared to the newer systems

if you are a brand new flyer go with a raptor 30 cheaper crash cost and it has parts, but i see you have a 450 so i would think you are past hovering

go with a raptor 50

i am upgrading my raptor 39 to a 50 and i had wished i went straight to a 50 much better performance and the engine is only a couple of bucks more than the 39. you'll be much happier with the 50

why do you store at TDC this would put stress on the piston, arm and sleeve when the engine cools it should be at the bottom of the swing. this would also help extend the life of the ring.

the mats are not generating the static the are preventing the discharge from the heli to ground when you go to arm it. so when you take away the mats and then arm your heli, u touch the heli and discharge the heli and then you have no issues. try replacing the mats and as you arm your heli touch the metal face plate of a outlet or a copper pipe to ground yourself and see if you still have the same issue

why is it i still hear a lot of brown outs on the spektrum stuff, and i never heard of this problem in the futaba fasst systems. you would think spektrum would have taken care of this problem by now because this is a serious safety issue. i have had 2 fasst radios and never had a issues

this is just a observation not a bashing, spektum has made great strides in there technology .

you can get a specktrum module for the futaba radios that have modules like the 9cap,9chp, they work great especially if ya have a lot of aircraft and ur interested in the BNF stuff

well running weird is=
as i descend the engine will sometimes run at a higher rpm and sometimes it will suddenly drop rpm for just a second then recover when in normal mode i havent played a lot at idle up for long periods of time but the back of the engine is just a little hot to the touch when i land which is about 10 seconds after landing when it spools down..
....
second when i go into a little power hungry maneuver the engine will bog down a bit as i have just recovered from a crash due to this from a wide loop i pancaked it into the ground

i have a rappy v2 TT 39 with the upgraded pipe got rid of the 2 peice
i am about 2 gallons into this engine and it still smokes all the time
...
here is a short clip of me spinning up the 500 is not mine mine is the rappy
http://web.me.com/mr_canard/Jeffs_Site/Videos.html

i am pretty sure that my tune is off

what do yall think so far none of the dodads i asked about probably wont help me much at all which is cool with me

what is a CARBSMART? what is its use?is it really necessary?

is a govinor really necessary?

is there a differance in either?

i think i need a onboard glow plug heater. can yall recomend one?

i am fairly new just casual flying with a raptor 30 and i am noticing the engine running weird sometimes as i am going into maneuvers that are power hungry.
can you recommend

thank you so much for any info you can offer

IT WILL PROBABLY COST YA 30 dollars to ship it at most plus you dont have to worry about carrying it on plane, either way you will still have to take off the tail

ya gas prices are bad i have a work van ford econoline and it takes 30 gallons at nearly 3.30 a gallon which is about 100 dollars times 3 times a week for driving plus my company has 25 vehicles which on average fill up 3 times a week

the math
$300 a truck x 25 trucks = about $7500 big money

now its understandable why things get so expensive
