Just been going through some old vids and found it. It was Nier Meiri in the Sunday freestyle 2006
Sounds about right, when I saw it I thought, "oooh I like, must give it a try"
It's not that hard really figure 8 shape on the right stick with a sync'ed stir on the left. I think (just realised that I'm not sure what I do, maybe it's a circular stir on the right ..hmmm)

When you've got it you can do it travelling accending decending in a loop etc, looks cool

Sometimes very deep wounds actually prevent a large amount of blood loss
That's right I've had my wrist cut deep enough to do tendons and nerves, hardly any blood after the initial squirting. Luckily I didn't get down to the artery

I've been flying the Vibe for couple of weeks now and so far I've been very impressed with it's flying qualities, very locked into manoeuvres.
The part quality is high and the whole helicopter has a feeling of being able to take anything you throw at it.
The only issue so far has been the start-coupling going through the blades; a friend's Vibe did that also
He had an issue when the tail hub came off once when he first had it, but has had 5 months hard flying without issue since then.

I also bought this as a interim 90 before the Aurora comes out with the intention to sell it. But now I think it will be in addition to the Aurora.

Jason Krause crashed his flying at our field pre-masters due to a lock out caused by this reg.
Lockouts occurred on both his models, solved with a regular Align regulator.
Also I've Bob J I've seen going in due to a lockout whilst using one.

The consensus was that it only affected 35mhz, and then maybe only Futaba G3. Bob and JK were using 14/12mz trannies, also tried on a friend's 12.

also a friend of mine at the field has had simmalar findings interesting why it is so eficent
Hey that's me
I'm with Rick on this one, I've had a couple of 5-8 3d flight sessions this last weekend, less than 1000mah put back it into the 2600 Fromeco pack. Monitored the pack between flights lowest voltage was about 7.4 under a 1 amp load.

It seems very odd to me , but I'm not complaining

Andy has refused always to sell synergy parts to me and I've tried to buy several times. I don't understand that a company prefer to have his customers at home without flying for not having spares
Not sure that a distributor can stop this, as it's within the EU. It's supposed to be a single market.
Anyway the whole thing sucks, Andy does not deserve this I'm sure.

May I suggest that you guys in the UK voice your opinion to the UK distributor (Roger Hamilton) in person the next time you see him at an event.

I'm with you, and I do understand, I was dissapointed when I heard about them not competing. That's because I've always held their flying in such high regard. Every cloud has a silver lining, if you look for it; and on this occasion it should be some very good demo flights.

for one am hopefully looking forward to seeing them fly in a more relaxed fashion in the demo's, you only have to remember Alan's 'Flight by the Lake' video to see how he can really fly when he is having fun and the pressure is off.
This is my take on it all, I'm going to savour the flights, not get pissy cos' the judges won't be marking them.

Why?
There is no contract made between you and Jeff to see any particular pilot. You can see who is going to/is likely to fly before handing over you money. If that's not enough for you don't go.

Hi,

I had exactly the same issue today, noticed it after the first flight of my 450SEv2.
The movement is in the vertical plane between the inner and outer part of the swash, and it also rocks side to side.
I've swapped mine with a new one. It does appear to be better on the ground but will examine again after the next flight.

Yeah I'm currently doing a spindle a week on my Rap50.
Havn't managed to bend a 600 spindle yet.

Bob is right, the 600 flys better than a Rap50, the extra punch is just a bonus.

The word around the campfire is that Ripmax are trying to get the BMFA to state that those using the Spektrum modules in 12/14mz and others are not covered by insurance.
Appears the BMFA have said something like "it's a grey area".
Spekrum are, I believe trying to get the type approval/CE stamp for this combination of module and tranny.

Personally I was chomping at the bit last week for these modules when the news broke, now I'm still chomping; as I see this as a Ripmax spoiler/FUD generation tactic.

Maybe they, (Ripmax) should invest some effort in getting Futaba to wake up and smell the Java, 2.4 is the future.

It's a bloody shame, that site was great for heli flying.
Jealous piss stained old gimmers causing grief as usual.
As Angelos said any such fundamental change in the club rules has to be put to the whole club at general meeting, under a pre-published agenda.

I'd get a solicitors letter sent your obviously fascist chairman pointing out that you consider the rule invalid until a proper vote is taken.

In the mean time continue to fly.

Also go for a vote of no confidence in the committee

If you have enabled upnp, have you also done the following?

Define the port forwarding rule, the correct rule for directx is probably already defined you just need to associate it with the IP of the host server

If not you should be able to define a rule like this..

Also you need to put the IP address for the machine you are hosting on in the DMZ and turn the DMZ on.

I tried the Align blades on my Raptor last week, I liked them.
They tolerate a little stick banging without backing off like you do with v's.

timebandit what kind of fish is that in the second photo?
That's a Permit, about 25lb the most highly prized fish in salt water fly fishing.
Some people have spent years trying to catch one.

It was the first fish in my grand slam, which means catching a Permit, Bonefish and Tarpon on the same day.

Yes, it happened to me last month on a 1 week old 90 SE with a new 611 gyro, so it's not a function of how long it's been on the heli.
It split right down the middle.
Landed in a bush under throttle hold, so not much damage

Now I use the double-sided tape that Ripmax sell.

I wouldn't do anything to suggest that you have used the cable with Reflex if I were you. Sending the cable to them would infer that you had used the cable with a copy of the software that you have not legally purchase. As some have pointed out here ownership is PROBABLY not illegal, but it's use maybe.
I'd say nothing and if pressed again state that the interface was never used with Reflex.

I tuned mine starting with factory 2 turns out high and mid (ran it like this for about 1.5 gallons.
Then did what the manual said.
Tune the low end screw for spool and tranistion to hover. Then tune the top end with hard climbouts.
Only then I leaned the mid needle

Using Magnum 30 with a MP2, it's making tons of power

Effective current rating in new config
Hello All

I have 2 3s1p 1300 TP packs that I want to reuse in a 3s2p configuration.
Each pack is rated as 10-12c in their original config.

Is it correct to say that the rating stands but now applies to the new effective capacity, i.e. 2600mAh, giving a continuous 26 amp current?

I'm I barking up the wrong tree?

So, I put two tanks through on factory needle settings, it sounded like there was an underlying plinking through all the rich burbling going on so I put in the extra .1mm gasket. Then it sounded much better.

Oh yes, nearly forgot to mention this engine has got some power already even on factory settings.

OS 91sz Head Gasket
Hello All,

This is a section from the OS 91sz manual
/*
ABOUT THE HEAD GASKET
The engine is installed with a 0.2mm thick head
gasket at the factory. If necessary according to the
fuel used, atmospheric conditions and glow plug
used, adjust the thickness with the extra 0.2mm and
0.1mm gasket supplied with the engine.
*/

Two Gasgets are supplied with the engine, but the section in the manual isn't IMHO very helpful.

I'm just about to install this engine into a R90SE and would like to know your opinion on which, if any extra gasket to use.
My best guess would be add another shim as I'm using 30%

I'll be using Magnum 30% with a MP2
The atmospheric conditions are +1C 1037mb very poor visability
...oh and an OS8 plug

Thanks

Peter
