vertical and horizontal stab diagram
I picked up a box of parts for a Baron 20 (actually about 3 or 4). It looks like I can get a complete bird out of it.

I do need a template for the horizontal and vertical stabs. Could someone please let me know if they could trace theirs and email them to me.

Thanks

OK Stupid Question Time
Sorry about this guys, but how do you use the starting belt to start the engine? It is not included in the manual and I have not been able to find it anywhere.

starter belt
The best belt to use is a singer sewing machine. It's black in color and dosen't go bittle and break like the original one.
You use the belt the same way the boat guys start there boats.
Put the belt around the groove on the starter motor and the groove on the motor. Make sure the starter is going the right way.Pull against the motor to tighten the belt. When the motor starts roll the starter motor out. Hook the belt and fly.

Sparky01 ,
I'm sure it's not a mistake that you would make , but ensure that you spin the engine over in the right direction .

At the end of the day , it gets dark .

Tail Rotor Gearbox
I need a new T/R gearbox, canopy and main gear if possible for my Baron 20, also main blades and manual would be helpful. Anyone got any? Also the horizontal fin is missing, does anyone have a template for this? The vertical one is made of liteply by the looks of it, considering just copying this...

Any recommendations on currently available blades that will fit? What length are the originals?

Sorry for the amount of questions, just want to fix this old heli up as a change to flying the Rappy!

The mainshaft for autorotation hub number I have is 0200-020-6. I'm not sure of the number for the mainshaft without autorotation. I only have a Circus Hobbies number of KB2405A. Hope this may help.

Regards,
Rick

KB 20 Mainshaft
From the working drawing: # B20-4-05

Which is cross referenced to newer # 0200-001-6

Youre welcome Ken!

Maybe the different numbers refer to an autorotation setup?

Auto mainshaft is longer due to a lowered location of the bottom bolt through the auto hub.

Someone will need one in due time!

Kalt Baron 20 Manuals
All,
I know how desperate I was for these manuals so when I was able to locate an original set I decided to scan and post for others. I'm hoping to get my "new" Baron 20 flying in the next month or so

http://thelukens.net/airplanes/Accessories.htm

I'll post pics on my website when I get the bird in the air.
