The 2004 Circumgyration scale event will be held at the Bayside
R/C Club in Fremont CA. The dates are May 13th thru the 16th.
This event is an AMA sanctioned event with competition in both
sport and expert scale. Last year we had a total of 71 registered
pilots in attendance. We had a number of full scale helicopters
fly in to visit and numerous vendors, including Len Mount and
Vario. We also had numerous distinguished guests, including
Peter Wales from Florida, Len Mount, Jon Tanner, Sean Brown,
and Jim Morley from the UK. If you are into scale or interested
in finding out more about R/C scale helicopters. Come and
see our event or checkout our website at:

Buckets
Hay Colin...
I still have some but I still havent got the paint to stick well to the plastic so the paint tends to chip if its bent or flexed too far. was sellin them for $40 but i'm not going ot make any more to sell till i get that problem fixed. But YES i still have a few left that i'm bringing down next month!

I've tried bumper primmer, sanding, not sanding, regular primer.....nothing works as well as i'd like!!! I paint and clear them so the 30% nitro doesn't affect the paint ...its only when the bucket gets bent

bucket
hay Colin,
your bucket is on the way!! shold be there wednesday!! thanks

I left the plunger string long as i dont know how you are going to pull it up?!?! I use a long servo arm and when the plunget is down and the bucket is filled with water, you want the string to have a little slack in it to keep the swinging motion from pulling up the plunger. I Also have my arm as clost to the hard point on the heli as possible!! Cant wait to see it in action!!
Now....Can you say 2.5 gal??????????

Dr. Tim,

Looking forward to seeing you again this year. I heard your turbine
powered Cobra is awesome. I'm looking forward to seeing it fly.
I will be entering a 1/5 scale Robinson R-22 in super scale. I'm
really looking forward to this years Circumgration event. We
should have a number of full scale coming in also. Maybe even
the showcopter I modeled my scale project after.

I am there!!
For those of us who might just want to check out the field, and visit, is there an entrance fee. Not like I mind as we all have to do our part to support the maintinance staff etc who help put the great shows together.

Dsilver668,

Since this is a AMA Sanctioned event, you must be an AMA
member to register. However if you want to visit, there is no
charge to enter. We encourge all R/C pilots and the general
public to come out and check out the scale and full size
helicopters. Most of the full scale helis will be coming in on
Saturday the 15th.

Hope to meet you

Coming.
Yup I wasn't planning on flying, but need to get my AMA membership anyway. Yup I know I have been putting it off, but I wanted to find a good field to fly at at the same time.
