I think Tito Jackson(or one of the Jackson bros, except Michael) played with R/C helis a long time ago at the Sepulveda field in LA.

Anyone remember the pro football player that was on the front of RCM in the early '80s? He was holding a heli, cover claimed he was famous. I would rather fly than watch football though....

I don't know who the Player was, but remember that the canopy was a bubble canopy and was painted the same as his helmet, I believe in blue and yellow.I am not a follower of American Football, but I think he played for the Rams.If I remember incorrectly, take into account that it was over tweny years ago!

Celebrity pilots
I saw a episode of Magnum PI where Higgins was flying a plane and Selick shot it out of the sky because it woke him up. ( Funny as hell ) I dont know if it was him flying I would love to see it again.

I love Dick Dale. I have seen him 5 times. After every show, he sits on the edge of the stage and stays till the last fan has shaken his hand, gotten an autograph and BS'd with him. man I would love to get his autograph on a heli part... but I think I would have trouble getting into a deep ellum club with a 600mm blade lol kinda looks like a machette. Well maybe a tail blade.
