Any Semi or Scale Hughes 300 Kits or Conversions?
Any suggestions on a Hughes 300, any size preferably 450 or bigger. Im also looking at the one from Bangood without electronics (That GPS drone style nonsense is a no go for me!), does anyone know if those are any good and if parts are available? https://www.banggood.com/JCZK-300C-...N2zOiTXzsgycOQk

Ya but to build a Vario is pretty pricey, by the time you have everything you need from Vario what would the cost be?

I bought one of those a couple of years ago. I switched the electronics out for a jeti and mini v bar and have been flying it most days ever since. Batteries are getting hard to find now so I have gone up a size on mine and I am getting 5-6 minutes cruising around my back yard most mornings. My Grandson kept stealing it so I bought him one as well. It doesn't get flown so much but they are great for tuning your skills up, practising nats maneuvers and having fun. Print up a 1/2 size russian pilot and they are very scale lookingPeter Wales

Where are you getting parts, I look at Banggood and they show very little for these. Have you always been able to get what you needed?

I just found those, they look pretty good. I used to fly with Robert Gorham around 1984 ish, brought back memories of GMP seeing your name.

Parts come from here
https://gartt.aliexpress.com/store/....436e2cd8pVSvmG
I have only needed to place one order with them. Custom parts like canopy or windows are expensive but mechanical parts are cheap enough. Plastic rotor blades bend in a crash and dont break. They seem to take most of the stress and other parts dont get damaged.

Well I ordered the JCZK 300 minus electronics from Banggood. Those look so good especially the interior. I still may also build a Hirobo 300 later on.
