GMP Legend Mainshaft. Hi fellow GMP fliers,
I'm about to restore my Legend and am hoping to replace the mainshaft with a full complimented (no reduction or chamfer) 10mm shaft and the necessary auto bearings. The mainshaft was retained into the auto unit by a 10mm collar placed on the bottom of the shaft retained with a through-bolt. This is what Kam Wyatt did with the Tornado back when. Has anyone done this mod themselves? |

/This heli remind me my hirobo shuttle z... Very strong design.BTW, did you crash that GMP legend?If it is not crashed I don't get it why you want to replace a main shaft that is in good condition?Trex600 both electric and nitro have tapered main shaft with no issues./ |

I can't remember it's been many years since I flew my Legend. I just sent a request for a mainshaft to Adam at mphelis. Hopefully he still produces them. |
