Fuel Tubing
I usually use the normal Tygon fuel tubing for my gas applications. I will order more but I thought I had more.
Has anyone used the clear Festo tubing for jet fuel like DreamWorks sells for this application is it compatible with gasoline???
Also, if I use the Festo tubing I can use Festo fuel filter so is anyone using clear Festo tubing for gasoline applications on their helicopters?
Thanks Bob

FWIW - I've had good luck with Viton tubing for gasoline applications, fixed wing and heli, especially inside fuel tanks. Available from auto parts stores and on Ebay and, I'm sure, elsewhere. The older I get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

All this tubings get harder with time so, the right question could be...

For how long did you use your set of fuel tubing onboard?
Six months... A year?

When you store your gasser helicopter, did you remove the fuel out of the tubings? Why?
Do you leave some fuel on tank, carb and tubing? Why?

Tubing with fuel all the time, last longer...

Saludos cordiales,
