ESC questions please Trouble shooting my oh so old yet beloved Century Swift 16, found unsoldered cap on esc pcb.
Tried to resolder no function. also note UBEC dead. Motor is Scorpion hk 4020 , 1390 kv Cyclic servos Futaba digi s3152 tail Fut 9254, gy 401 gyro Both dead esc, Turnigy opto 100 A, and ubec, Turnighy 7.5 A with 5 or 6 v out, are no longer available. So QUESTIONS PLEASE? will 60 A esc support motor for low head speed scale flight? Will bundled sbec 6 A support 4 digi servos? Will 5.5 v risk damage to speced for 5 only tail servo Fut 9254? /Your heli class 30 works very good with all this gadgets.The power plant required is about 1000 watts, so 60 amp with 22.2 volts is OK.BEC with 6 amps... Enough! Your century only needs 3-4 amp.S9254 is 4.8 volts nominal, so max volts should be 5.1 volts. With 5.5 volts, run a stepdown./ |
