Trex 650X and 700 Funkey Hello
I just put together this build and need some much needed advice, I fly in normal mode not idle up, slow with a lot of hovering, I want to this with low head speed (6cell setup), can anyone tell me a good throttle curve and pitch curve to start out with. Thanks in Advance |

/Well, you must follow the instruction manual for pitch angles, min - 5, center +5.5, max +10.For your throttle curve, you need a tachometer to set proper rotor rpm.For initial hovering, you can try... min 0, 30,center 40, 40,max 40 in a five point throttle curve. With this 40% you can fly near 1700 rpm... That should be enough.Fly your heli and check rpm. If you feel your heli need more power, increase 40, step 5 by 5 till you feel confortable with this. On the contrary, decrease 40, step by 5./ |

/Let me warn you about it.When you lower the number of cells by two, you also lower the max rpm by two.It is not easy as you may think. Doing such arrangement, your heli may not fly at all.Would you give us more info... ESC, motor, spur and pinion theets. You would need to do some calculation before doing this./ |
