Multi blade (4 blade) hover pitch The Robbe Cuatro manual advices a setup of the main rotor blades whereby at mid-stick the helicopter hovers at 5deg collective pitch and an appropriate head speed - this I'm assuming is for a 2 blade setup. So, my question is, with multi blades (say 4 blades) is the hovering pitch still supposed to be 5deg and an appropriate head speed or should I setup the mid-stick collective pitch to something else.Thank you. |

/In general cases, it is the same setup. It depends upon blades shape. For example, simetric and not simetrical..Hover at 5 degrees.../ |

For scale flight the general guidance for pitch is -2 deg at low stick, 5,5 deg at mid stick and +10 deg at high stick.Helicopters usually hover at the magical 5,5 degrees of pitch. Some, heavier with lower headspeed require a bit more, but not too much...gh |
