Need helpSetting up futaba gv-1 governor a I’m setting up a trex800 gasser and it has a futaba gv-1 governor with the statorgator sensor my first time with a futaba governor I have a few questions about the set up
Because it has a statorgator is it any different than the sensor on the cooling fan on a nitro and how do you check the sensor on the governor how do you check it to see if it’s working. |

/Correct.There is no way to test Stator gator on gv-1 since it is not a magnet sensor.Check carefully hidden menu for over speeding issues./ |

Link above is good for explaining it all With the stator gator start the engine and check the rpm screen to see if its working properly. If wires are right it will show the rpm, if wires are reversed it will still show the rpm but it will jump around more on the numbers. Final test is take off and hover and see if the governor kicks in, If it doesn't then reverse the wires and try again. This is for the RC motor stator gator. If using a PUH then no worries about wires you can't get them wrong.Best regards,-=>Raja.Spectra 27 3DMax, 3484 flts Whiplash V1-2 Hanson 300, 2071 flts Whiplash V2 Hanson 300, 954 flts |
