Trex 700 Tail blades
Hi, can anyone tell me if I can use 110mm tail blades on a Trex 700 v2.0 F3c without causing problems.

As far as your tail blades don't hit with main blades, not problem.

Check tail servo for temperature.

There is another solution you may consider...

Larger boom, smaller tail blades could be. :

I use the same size on a 700 N and it flys great. Just make sure that the rotor blades clear the tail blades. I would just free spin the blades first before running the heli, thats a safe way to check. Hope its works for you. Good luck and always be safe. That sweet smell of "Nitro"

I use Cyclone and Rail 115 tail blades with 700 main blades (Cyclones) and a DFC rotor head which sits lower and closer to the tail blades,i've never had any problems after hundreds of 3D smack flights. As far as tail temp, there is no need to check because the longer tail blades actually give you better tail authority and better mechanical tail gain,so why even be concerned with the tail temp?
I'm using the Vbar Neo and before i was using Align 106 tail blades at 70-75 tail gain and was marginally holding well. Now that i use 115's my tail gain is now down to 46-48 due to the longer tail blades with much better tail authority especially during hard stops,my heli would turn around 180 degrees, but now it stops and doesn't turn 180 degrees around no matter what i do...
Don't even bother with smaller tail blades as someone suggested, unless you want to minimize tail authority and dial up your tail gain to make it hold, then your tail servo has to work harder.
110 tail blades will be fine, there's no need for:
Longer tail booms
Shorter tail blades
Unnecessarily checking tail servo temps
why make it complicated?????????
Although,i would not use any longer than 700mm main blades if you're going to use 110 tail blades.
