It's been almost a year since the last post, here. Any other Bergen fliers still out there? I had a motor, and ESC and an idea. So, I now have an Intrepid Gas converted to electric.

Scorpion HKIII-4035-500KV motor
Castle Creations Phoenix Edge 160 Amp HV ESC (way more than needed, but it's what I had)
5200 MAh 4s Lipo x 2 in series for 8s
Stock 6.43 gear ratio (90/14)
1650 RPM governed
8 minute run time flying like an old fart.

Nicely done!
You are not the only one, I have a small fleet of Bergen’s that I fly irregularly. Gas eb, Tazer and twin. Would love to have a turbine to complete the set!
