You buy a 18 channels transmitter and you get a 18 channels transmitter.

If I recall correctly the offer from the Jeti junk ... You buy a fine 24 channels transmitter and you get a 8 channels transmitter and a promise to get more if you pay...

Oh dear, someone doesn't like Jeti,,,
Like the old days with Graupner 8 channels were only 4, still you did know that when you were sold it,,

So back to The New T16iz, my old FX-30 is over 10 years old now so will it be for me ?, I like tray radios but only the FX-36 at silly prices, so who out there has got from a tray radio to a box one in a tray ?, and what are your views .

And what will it cost, I am getting from $450 to $2000 just for the TX,,

Jejejeje...

When this Jeti junk will have a logical switch to get popcorn, maybe they will have my attention.

Futaba... My kind of transmitter.

We have a couple of Jeti's in our club, bought by the Multiplex fans,, and very happy with them, and I do admit I was tempted to get one as they do look nice,, but down to a mere 35 planes half still on 41 mhz, it would be very costly, maybe one of those multi watsit free whatever $200 Chinese multi protocol jobs is the was to go,,

I think something is happening with Futaba.

I don't really understand the transmitter "coding".

I was used to see... 7c, 9C,9Z,10C,12Z,12FG,14MZ, 18MZ... There was some kind of patron.

But now we got a sort of transmitter FHSS in a very aleatorious way to present... 6J,10J...

Recently we have the 16SZ...and all of a sudden, now the 16IZ...

I don't know.
16SZ is going to be out of business?

Futaba transmitters from RCJapan are for Asia region, not for the Americas which requires US FCC certification for USA transmitters. Most likely, it will be late first QTR 2021 or later due to FCC certification requirement in my opinion.

I was just stating when RC Japan thought they would arrive there
also the Txs sold by them will meet the US standards they just wont have the sticker because the sticker adds cost to the price of the Tx

Sorry Banshee, but transmitters without FCC stickers do no meet US standards as the sticker is the required certification by the FCC and must be affixed to the transmitter for one to operate subject transmitter in the USA. Moreover, should an accident occur causing property damage, injury or loss of life using a transmitter without FCC certification, an accident investigation will ensue; do you want to be the one operating such transmitter and face the liability associated with same?

As a matter of fact I researched this topic a couple of years ago
Because I will not intentionally endanger anyone or anything just to save a few $$$

almost all transmitters manufactured by Futaba and Spektrum sold in the world meet our standards except for one or two countries that have lower power output standards

I am not concerned because the transmitter still would meet the operational standards required in the U.S. whether it had the sticker or not when tested.
So not having a sticker would be a mute point.

Also regardless of what kind of accident that may happen.

I am the one that is libel just about no matter what
Thats why I have a good umbrella policy on top of the normal home owners and AMA insurance

Glad you have done your research. Do you really think your umbrella policy, HO and AMA insurance policies with cover award of direct damages by court order in violation of Federal FCC laws?

Yep I sure do !

first off the FCC sticker issue would never come up unless I tried to blame Futaba for the accident

the lack of a FCC sticker wont cause an accident and nobody will be awarded damages in court based on a lack of a sticker when the Tx is well within the specs of the FCC without the sticker

Secondly you ever hear of a drunk causing a car accident and there insurance not paying even though they broke the law by drinking and driving I havent
even if there is a few cases it is very rare

Insurance companies cant just refuse to pay anytime a law is broken
no victim would ever collect any money any time
