IMHO using an expensive transmitter for sim time is not very prudent. The extra wear and tear on the gimbals is not worth the minimal benefit. Sims are never going to be "real". Use the cheap device that comes with it and save the real TX for the real models. The sim is for muscle memory improvement that quickly transfers to the real setup. No two models fly the same and one still transfers the skill learned one model to another. Same for the differences in the cheap gimbals and high precision ones on a real TX. Consider the costs to have a TX serviced prematurely from beating it up on a sim.Scott

Don't do that!

It is an expensive transmitter for this "dirty" job.

I usually fly with my simulator and most of the time, some coke, pizza, donut with a lot of sugar on my finger and kids were fooling around there... So, no way to install my TX.

I have my RF transmitter from stock. Very resistant, proven high impact resistant and die hard stock RF TX.
