Trex fbl conversations I have a Trex600N Pro flybarred. What do I need to convert it to FBL without changing the main shaft. I have several packs of shafts is why I don't want to change it.Thanks |

/A flybarred rotor needs a larger shaft to acomodate the mechanics...On the other hand, flybarless rotor shaft can be shorter giving a good shape to your heli.Well... You can use a flybarred rotor shaft on a FBL rotor but you need to cut it and do the convenient hole. There are several fbl shafts with different lengths so choose depending on your trex model./ |

/Excuse me...There is another way on your conversion flybarred to FBL, leaving the old shaft. After install the FBL rotor in place, take measurements and look for shorter links. You probably need a threading tool./ |

/Some pics...The first picture, you can see this Trex600 nitro with flybarless rotor and the correct shaft. ![]() ![]() ... Or... 2. Get shorter links.Resume :If you are trying a conversion from flybarred to flybarless, it is not enough with the conversion kit. You need to get a separate shaft, not included BTW.../ |
