Futaba 12fgh pricing? Help
I have my rc toys sitting for 10 years now collecting dust... I have no clue as to how to sell it

What is a futaba 12fgh faast worth? Do I sell it with the servos and receiver which are all still on my trex 600 or do i sell seperate?

It was only used 3 times and has a thunder tiger lithium bat..

To start with, I'll pass on some advice given to me from my attorney brother-in-law some years ago. Never sell a model anything completely ready to fly. Always remove the receiver and sell it separately. The servos and any other electronics can be left in the model. The rationale for this advice is that should your buyer crash the model into a bus load of lawyer's wives you would ultimately be the one to get sued as the buyer would claim the model was not as advertised; i.e. any damages were not their fault as the model, as delivered, was defective.

Getting past that, your old 12 channel Futaba transmitter (with receiver) will prolly get you around $200/$250 and the Trex 600 (with servos/gyro) will get you about the same. Your biggest problem is shipping costs with you being in Hawaii. When a prospective stateside buyer looks at what you want for the model and then adds the outrageous USPS shipping cost from Hawaii.......well......it would be a lot easier if you could find a local interested in helis.

Finally, a ten year old battery of any flavor is likely NFG. Keeping a lithium that old in your house/garage/shop is risky. I would advise dumping the battery ASAP.

Good luck.
The older I get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

helitom’s estimate is generous, considering that a brand new Futaba 14SG with R7008SB receiver, battery, charger and WARRANTY sells for $650 before any store promo discount coupons. 12FG was/is a great radio depending on your perspective (used to own one), but I am afraid you waited too long to sell it...
