That appears to be very good news. Now just as long as everyone stops being stupid and uses common sense. Well, on second though, we're screwed.

Of course, the ongoing problem with this CDC information is the validity of the numbers. Making charts is easy, making sure the numbers used to make the charts truly reflect actual covid cases is another matter. Lots of speculation in my small part of the world about the government funding hospitals receive from identifying a covid case including a supposedly additional $12K per patient if they are put on a ventilator. Hospital administrators are not stupid. This income source could well have driven higher case numbers than actually exist. It does make you wonder how many "reported" covid cases are really bad hangovers, homeless looking for shelter, etc. Keep in mind that the "normal" income for hospitals is the day to day business from somehow insured patients. Those normal income sources have nose dived as any sane person puts off going to a hospital to avoid catching the covid. However, the cost of running a hospital has not changed.

I personally am waiting for CDC to provide useful information such as:

- If you get covid and survive, are you immune?

- if someone with covid goes into a grocery store, auto parts, a Lowes, etc and coughs, sneezes, etc on products, tables, etc; how long does the bad stuff stay there.

- If I grab a can of beans in a grocery store that a covid carrier has previously touched do I now transfer that to all the other things I touch? When I leave the store, do I transfer it to my car door handle , the steering wheel, etc. If the bagger at the grocery store grabs that contaminated can of beans do they them transfer the bad stuff to everything they handle downstream of the initial touch? If so, how long does this second, third hand stuff stay alive.

- Why are there no specified standards for the "mandatory" requirement to wear masks? I know there exists a variety of standards for the masks themselves. However, when a governor says all shall wear masks, strapping on one of those cheap, made in china, tissue paper masks fulfills the requirement. Really?

- Why is it when you are rioting or looting in mass mobs, no one gets covid?

- How/why does a asymptomatic covid carrier ever get diagnosed in the first place?

- Is there a significant difference in population percentage of covid cases between crowded city habitats in poor areas verses more open areas like small towns, remote areas, etc?

- If someone personally quarantines them self for fourteen days because they believe they may have been in an environment where covid was present (i.e. airplane trip) how do they know fourteen days is enough. If they cough or sneeze up a wad of the virus, then touch whatever the virus landed on, do they refresh the disease? Would this be a nonstop event forever?

- Does anybody actually know anything about this disease?

- If it is true that china intentionally dropped this virus on us/the world, why have that not yet been nuked?

Just sayin'....
The older I get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

Good post. It's all a blur and before you know it, the plague will pass.
Birx Stokes Hopes That Key Hospital Data Tracking Will Soon Return To CDC
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is working "to build a revolutionary new data system" for COVID-19 hospital data collection that the CDC will run upon completion, according to Dr. Deborah Birx of the White House Coronavirus Task Force.

Helitom You asked way to many questions. The only thing you need to know
1. This is a deadly virus
2. People die from said deadly virus, (We will give some type of numbers daily)
3. Wear a mask of any type to prevent the spread of said virus.
4. Get tested then if it comes up positive, (Get retested until it comes back negative)
5. Don't worry about rioting (The virus is afraid of the rioters)
6. If you sign up for testing and don't show up (You automatically receive a positive test)
7. The 'critical life span' of the virus expires in November (So you can go back to normal, no mask)
8. The 'non-critical life span' never expires and the virus be around forever.
9. When a vaccine is discovered you will be required to be vaccinated or be exiled to Antarctica.
10. Do not worry about the safety of the vaccine (It is safe)

Well, we started with this thing in Jan ........ I can assure you that we won't be back to normal for the remainder of 2020. Hell, I actually believe that in the best case scenario and if the freaking vaccines are half decent, we will still be dealing with COVID till next spring. And that only if everything goes super smooth. That is a big IF!
American airlines already announced a massive reduction of its workforce. I can only imagine many more airlines will follow. For many Americans their new reality will be a harsh one.
It is sad to see the numbers in Brazil. They really can't slow down the freaking virus .....

I am also going to recommend them to stop getting old and select their genetic make up wisely. While I am at it, I will recommend them not to get infected with other mean bugs -just in case. No argument about losing weight. As they say, avoid the defaults (dumb, fat and poor).

You sure you got that right? If I remember correctly you were on the chubby side
I think it is more important to get the other two right though. That's why I let myself go. I was like f*** it! I rather be fat than poor and or dumb.
Nop, my repertoire of voyeurism does not include display of violent acts leading to severe physical injury. I deal with the aftermath. Many of those guys end up in my shop requiring major maintenance.
In my line of work we write referrals (Psychiatrist) for people exhibiting that kind of aberrant behavior. If watching violent act on tv floats your boat, I would recommend seeking help immediately. I can also recommend some of my colleague in your area
Just kidding man! Anyways, no I do not experiencing any pleasure witnessing how divided our country is and how little we care for each other regardless of our political leaning, religion, or skin color. It is really sad and extremely worrisome.

Photshop is awesome, ain't it?
Now that I am giving my expert opinion, I would recommend you to upgrade to Zoom premium. We are gonna keep doing this distancing, remote thing for a while. You can scratch the reminder of the year. While at it, go ahead and scratch the first quarter of 2021. For some folks things will not be the same till 2022-2023 or ever (ask our fellow pilots here, small biz owners or those who lost their beloved ones). Extremely sad!
Sh!t's crazy!
