Hirobo Gazelle
Hi all new to the forum, having been out of the running for some time, i am now finding i have a little more time on my hands, so its down the shed to get going on a few projects that have been on the back burner for a few years,
The first one is a Morley Bell 47g that my son found thrown away in a skip, it was somewhat battered but complete except for cockpit and bubble,
I have stripped this sometime ago and repaired the ladder frame which was bent broken and twisted, it is now fully restored apart from the cockpit and bubble, I have made all the plugs and just waiting for the world to get back to normal so i can get get some petg to vacform the parts,
the second project is an old Hirobo Gazelle that has seen better days, having had a tail strike at some time and very badly repaired, and filled with expanding foam from mechanics to the tip of the tail, i have managed to remove the tail at the joint which i will reshape and take a fibre glass mould from to create a new tail section, should not be too bad a rebuild once this is done, just cannot decide on colour scheme, at the moment it iin the airforce red, any ideas would be appreciated,
Also what would one of these things be worth these days fully restored,
Stay safe Mezy

Pictures to follow, started to get the old tail section into the right shape, like the idea of red white and blue in some form or another, the missus likes it in the royal airforce livery it's already in, but when its painted it will be too late
