head temp in ys91 st I have a spectrum TM1000 set up with temp sensor in the engine's head. What temp should I set my DX9 warning to let me know the engine is getting too hot? |

/Mmmm... It's depend.You may try this as initial setup:On top head... 100 C... 212 F On cylinder... 80 C... 180 FIf there is no warning... Lower the setup by 5 till you get the warning, so raise 5 and leave the setting as it.Remember... This setting is always a warning! Don't run overheating your YS.../ |

/YS91ST is a very strong motor. It can work lean and resist mistreat but not for too long.Smoke is not a good indicator for overheating. Be careful.300 F?... My goodness... Something is not good on your readings... Too high!!!/ |
