Futaba New CGY755 FBL Gyro
It appears that Futaba will soon release a new CGY755 FBL gyro with no integrated receiver, as referenced in the below 32MZ Ver. 3.3.0 firmware manual link. Perhaps it is a scale down of the CGY760R less receiver function.

I'll be watching to see how the 755 is priced. At around $400 ($470 with required programmer) the CGY760 is hundreds of dollars more than most other gyros. Of course there is the argument the 760 also includes a Futaba FASSTest receiver and even the least expensive of them is $100. So it'll be interesting to see how the 755 is priced without the RX."Well, nothing bad can happen now."

I would hope MSRP of $250 - $299. You will still need GPB-1 Programming Box.

https://futabausa.com/product/cgy75...t-control-gyro/

So $350 presumably with programming box.* Programming box is $135 when purchased separately but discounted to $70 when purchased with the CGY760 gyro. So when it becomes available we can expect the gyro-only option of the CGY755 to be around $280? Sound about right? Your $250-$300 looks like a good ballpark number.
----------------------------------------------
* Is it possible the CGY755 is $350 without the GPB-1? If that is the case, the gyro and GPB would total an estimated $420.

Bill, It looks to me that the $350 price does not unfortunately include GPB-1 Programming Box.

Hmmm.. If true, unfortunate. That's going to make it a challenging.

I have sent an email to clarify the pricing since as it appears now, the drop down for the options does not change the pricing. Need to see whether it is being brought in both with box and without, too.

Based on Futaba Japan website, CGY755 is offered with and without GPB-1 programing box priced at MSRP of 38,000JY without box and 48,000 with box. Based on today's JY to USD exchange rate of 1.00JY to $0.00948 that would be $360.13 and $454.89 respectively. Hence $349.99 on FutabaUSA website is most likely without GPB-1 box. Perhaps they will have an introductory sale offer... or Dr. Ben will hopefully confirm a lower price without box.

Without GPB-1 box, mean you do have the futaba 32MZ...
With GPB-1 box, if you don't.

Without this box for rest of RC community, I think this gadget is completely useless...like my gy701 for example...

Not so. Before making Wireless settings, it is necessary to download setting data from the gyro to the T32MZ via a wired connection with GPB-1. Same is the case for the CGY760R.

Ok... So, you get the gyro, you need the GPB-1... No matter if you have a 32MZ or a 7C.

If you get another gyro, you don't need to buy another GPB-1.
