Hi Roy,
I was wondering if you managed to fly the FW1 yet?

Hey bud,
I had an issue getting my Rex700 together as a FBL heli. So reverted back to plan A and set up a Rex600.
With personal things getting in the way I haven’t put a lot of time into it but right now I just need to use the H1 assistant and set the system up per the manual. Then I will try to test hover it and hope it works as claimed

sorry for being so slow on this BUT Mr. John Salt has done a very detailed and professional review video of the H1.
I am at LT1PWR's house today setting up the H1 in my Rex 600 and found Mr. Salt's video while searching youtube.

Mr. Salt has also made a setup video which I just watched because I could not get the H1 to connect to my Rx.
Guess What?? no one said the H1 does not work with Spektrum signals unless it has a PPM output.
It is designed for SBUS or PPM output!!
So I'm out of luck as of right now. watching his videos, if you connect the H1 to a SBUS/PPM it comes online right away.
Sooooo... I'm searching for a Spektrum Rx with PPM output and if I have to I will go buy one. Will update once I have more info

One thing I do not like about the Flywing H1 flight controller is it only runs on high voltage like 7.2V or more, just makes thing more of a hassle a lot more!P.S. sorry for the spelling or the grammar I am dyslexic!

John Salt is using the Frsky Horus 12X. I am planning on buying one. Very impressed with all its functions.
Regarding the voltage needed for the system, that seems to be the case. I have to change the servos in the helicopter I installed the H1 in.
