Flywing H1 flight controller

Hello all,
I am looking for a helicopter flight controller. I have come accross the FlyWing H1. It is affordable and looks good enough. I have not been able to find any reviews or test results on the internet. I would be very happy if any of you know anything on this flight controller and share your thoughts here.

In the past, I installed a WOOKONG-H system on a Trex600.
The system was working with no issues.

Several months later, I had a crash, boom strike on this Trex600, and GPS was damaged.

No GPS is available for my WOOKONG-H because it is discontinued. The new version is not compatible.

I removed the whole system.
A new GPS is 200 bucks and is very difficult to find.
Without the GPS, this system is a piece of junk.

I don't recommend this type of gadget for your helicopters.
This gadgets are expensive.
Very bad tech support.
Software setup are poorly develop.
GPS on boom is not a good idea.
Be careful about obsolescence.

I had DJI AceOne (since day 1) and I was very happy with it for a long time. Then a year ago it stopped working while trying to setup on the bench. I don't fly helicopter cameraships any more but still would like to have a basic heli flight controller that is usable. FlyWing H1 looks just right but no body seems to have any experience with it.

Well even tho no one has posted with experience on this particular system I’ve decided to buy one and try it out first on a pod and boom Rex600.
I am more convinced on the Bavarian Demon FBL systems and have purchased a few for my heli builds I have going. I have friends that have them and they are phenomenal.Roy Mayoral

The box contained the gyro and gps on the top layer foam and underneath were the cables, gps mount, etc.

On the label on the exterior of the box was a QR code for flywingRC. When you read the QR code it takes you to the website link for the manual etc.

TREX 550 appears to be a preset in the setup menu. It must be a near perfect match for your 600.
Would you do a setup video if it's not too much bother? I am sure many will enjoy.

I downloaded the manuals and driver etc. today. I see what you mean about the listed helis in the wizard or assistant as they call it. I saw that the Trex700 was listed so changed my plans as I just happen to have two Trex700 models available. So started assembling one of the 700s today and will finish up Sunday as tomorrow I’m headed to a buddy’s house to work on helis and fly a little.Roy Mayoral
