Align Trex 600 DFC head issue Guys, I just got this Align DFC head. The whole head is totally removed from the frame, Upon eximining the movement of swashplate, I feel there is a binding, I can only tilt the swashplate on half side but the other half I need to put more effort but I can make it move....my feeling that the Feathering shaft might be bended or the head Arm is slightly bended.I Rotated the Feathering Shaft but did not see any Wobble on the head, this prove the feather shaft is not bend. Then I move the swashplate up and down to simulate the extreme movement of the pitch and I find the ball link at the swashplate move sideway about 3 mm, this supposed to have a 0 movement.I did check on both and same thing happen. Now I remove the swashplate, and move the linkkage up and down, I did really see the ball linkage move side way by 3 mm.I am not sure if this is defective, or a normal wear due to long use. cause I do not have a brand new to compare. Here is the actual video to show the binding or SPRING effect of swashplate.Hope some one can comment on this. |

/Very common problem with a rotor after a crash. That is why you need to check everything... Bearings, spindle, bolts, ball links, links... Lengths...Very good!/ |
