Human voice disrupts 2.4 during boot up? Has anybody ever had this happen..someone closeby talking incessantly during your system boot-up and your sats blink or your model does goofy things? I do a great decending funnel! |

/Oh my friend... I was thinking I was the only one...Yes... For the reason I don't know, it happens.I call all this behaviors "spektrum things"...One of my friend trying to bind his receiver, it took 20 minutes pressing some button till binding was ok... Pacience? ... Wow...
Imagine... 20 minutes sitting near your heli, doing nothing but pressing some button... Nooooo!!!/Saludos cordiales, |

Just to be clear - "bind" is the process of associating a particular receiver with a particular model on the transmitter. This only needs to be done while initially setting up a new model, NOT each flight and usually not at the field. There is a known problem with connecting, which is done each time you power on the model, if the model is setting on a metal surface such as the tailgate or bed of a truck. Note that there is no button pressing needed for this operation.Phil Heavin |

Thanks for that tidbit of info..I have been powering up my models while they are on an aluminum table..but I have had several instances of problems while a visitor was sitting closeby talking continually..he has a gravely voice..do you think his voice and the metal table could cause this? I never have had it happen when I'm out flying alone. I do a great decending funnel! |

Interesting. I have never experienced such a thing and I would not expect aluminum to cause the problem I mention, only steel. Maybe with social distancing things will go better. Phil Heavin |
