DJI troubleshooting HELP 2 years ago I was flying my friends DJI Phantom 3 standard. Not sure if thats the correct model. Its got the red stripes and the fancy little silver camera on it. Did they make other variations? I'm not familiar with all of them. The drone had not been flown in about a year, we charged the battery and flew it. Around 50% battery, the lights turned yellow and it moved right about 3 feet and hit the gutter on his house and fell(was not taking any inputs I was putting in from the Tx). It was still powered up so I had to hold the stick down to shut down the motors. There was no real damage other than tips of the blades rashed up. No big deal. He says that it now will not power up. It turns on, but does not power up. From what I read, the yellow lights are an indicator of going into RTH (return to home). What would cause all this? what is the fix? I'm kinda thinking that its just a battery issue because it does not getting flown often enough. Worst case scenario, is there a controller board that can be replaced? Where do I get one? how much?thanks |

/With this kind of crash possibly it disconnect some sort of cables inside the drone. You need to open the cover and inspect every cable and connections.BTW, you need a new battery./ |
