ALIGN RCE - BL50X HELP REQUIRED HI Folks,
Hope everyone is well, I am scratching my head with this speed controller, I bought it on 450 second hand, I run it up without re programming and it was fine and the machine flew.. but after a check over I decided to programme it correctly to my TX which is Futaba 10c.I have the following settings programmed, Brake - set to off ( low stick) Electronic timing ( MID) Battery Protection (MID) Aircraft - HIGH ( Heli soft start governor) Throttle Speed High ( Stick High) BEC OUTPUT 5v ( Stick Low)I plugged it al back in today and started to run it up, I got to mid stick and it cut out, no smoke nothing, I removed the motor and controller, nothing seemed to be amiss, I then as a test plugged in a 4.8volt NIMH and all servos powered up and rex, I checked the lypo ( Overlander 3s 2200) that was fine as I put it on my fuel pump to test, I then plugged it back into the motor, still nothing not even green light on rx, I then plugged the NIMH battery in along with the Lypo, and it all powered up I was able to hear the beeps from motor and re programme it, but as soon as I removed NIMH it all went dead...Is this a programming fault or is the speed controller duff ? It is brand new motor and speed controller and brand new lypo at 96%.Any ideas or help would be great, even if someone fancy doing a zoom call as I have a room. |

I think the BEC has blown, as when I plugged it into the receiver I run a futaba lead that had bare wires at end to test the voltage going through the rx, it should be set to 5volt but on using the meter it is only outputting 0.12volt, I re did the test with 4.8volt battery plugged directly into rx and when testing the same two wires is was registering 5volt, so all points to the BEC, I have ordered a new one and will see. It must just be one of those things, it was bought off ebay with description saying new BEC, but who knows. |

MattJen it should be set to 5volt but on using the meter it is only outputting 0.12volt, I re did the test with 4.8volt battery plugged directly /There is a chance that the BEC output lead is unsolder from ESC.Check that./ |
