JR PCM 10X
Guys.. I have a very very nice JR PCM 10X heli transmitter (Digital trims) with the PCM receiver on channel 18... I have replace the old (weak from old age) Electrolytic capacitors inside the TX (Since they have lost their value's) with new ones (I used to work in electronics)... Now this TX has been rejuvenated. Just look at the LCD touch screen. It's easy to see.. I have also replaced the old Ni-cads with new 1500mAh Ni-MH ones.

You also get a OrangeRX JR 2.4GHz modal, so you can now bind with a Spektrum receiver of your choice.. What you see is what you get.. The TX cost me the same as I'm selling it for, but I didn't get the PCM receiver or the OrangeRX.. Guaranteed in full working order with no broken switches...

Oh.. The backup battery didn't need replacing (Still at 2.75v), so you'll see the last owner has the TX programed for a Tempest 3D heli...

$140 + ship.

That button cell is at the end of its useful life and should be replaced ......

A new cell will read 3.2 ~ 3.3 V

Please look at the attached video of a 3 V button cell being tested . You can scroll to about two minutes into the video where you will see that a battery that reads below 2.8 V is considered “no good and should not be put into service “

There is more documentation regarding this information IF one cares to research it .....

Watch at YouTube

Some will argue that the battery is good because the models programmed are displayed.

BUT , keep in mind that the button cell is a “backup cell” that works when the main battery is removed from the radio or goes dead due to a failure or user error (eg, forgetting to turn the radio off)

I would wager that if the main battery were removed for say , a week, you’ll loose all of the radio’s saved data.....
Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

Nope.. If I remove the battery all data will be lost (After I replaced the battery, and the TX was switch back on all heli settings was lost). It happened to a old JR TX that I had, and I can't even remember how I got that TX back to heli mode.. Oh, you spying on me gain.. because your looking at all my posts, and making comments..

Oh, by the way.. 2.75v on the coin battery is 1/3 full 2v is 1/2 full (A friend told me) Zero is flat, so THERE..
