That would work for a deflector most definitely, I am looking for a plug to cap off the deflector to prevent residual oil from leaking on the floor... the Mrs. isn’t thrilled when this happensAMA 685330 IRCHA 3966

Wadd up a nice chunk of paper towel and shove that in there. It will prevent the dripping as well as soak up the extra oil as it accumulates.

How about a one inch long wooden dowel of the appropriate diameter?The older I get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.
