Buying Batteries
I have 4 5000mah Pulse 6 cell packs that I'm pretty sure I bought from Ron Lund at least a couple years before Rick's went under. That gives you an idea of how old they are. I can still fly around with them, but they just don't put out the juice. Where is a good place to buy packs these days?

Thanks,

Mike

Mike,

Do you have a charger that will measure the IR. of each cell. This will give you a clue of how well they are still balanced...

Helidirect, AMainHobbies, and direct from Pulse’s website is where you can find them. Otherwise:

Check out HRB, Amazon sells a plethora of sizes and they are good quality packs for sure. I have a set of their 100C graphene batteries although I am really not convinced they are worth the premium, however. If you don’t want to give Bezos a cut of the sale, you can buy direct from hrbusa.

I also have some ThunderPower 55C packs that I have been extremely happy with, and are every bit as good as the HRB graphenes. I bought mine during their Black Friday 50%-off sale last year and they took a couple weeks to ship. Well worth the wait IMO but just wanted to put that out there.
