Roban LEDs system
Hello
Does anyone know what voltage you can run Roban/Motion RC on there navigation lights and instruments? I'm using 7.4 volt on everything. The instructions that came with it doesn't say anything what voltage. I don't want to plug it into my receiver and damage either the light system nor my receiver.

Thank you
Dan

Are you guys running the stock lights that are included in the kit? Are they bright enough or are you guys replacing them?

You were lucky.

If this would be my case, I burn out everything...for sure!

Hopefully, you will find a regulator inside this gadget.

Opps... You don't...

I used a unit from mytrickrc.com UF-7C it has a lot of flash patterns, uses a 3 cell lipo and the led's are pretty bright.

I have the Roban 800 size AH-6 and the Magnum PI version, I'm using the stock lights, they are not bright at all unless it's dusk or dawn, any sunshine out and they are hard to see, I really don't care about lights so they work for me, more for display. I run a separate 4.8v NiMH battery to the light controller and they work fine but the cockpit lights I had to run straight off the 4.8V battery, they wouldn't light up coming from the light controller, I did burn my other set of beacon lights out using the 4.8v battery, that's how I found out they don't like it, only the cockpit lights can handle straight 4.8v. Here is my AH-6 at dawn, not to bad, my Magnum PI just got the lights working, I will get some pics of the lights on it when I can, this picture is before the lights were installed.

Sorry it was Dimension engineering and it's the delight starter kit and you can add more leds as needed.but it's a 8ch programmable light controller with 2 ch solely for nav lights at 2watts 2ch for program as landing lights that can work with a switch or throttle control and 4 ch that can be programmed strobes and beacons and what ever style of flashes you like.
