As far as esc I am thinking of going with a 130 HW PLATINUM. With the ego drift 4035 460kv. Do you guys think that should be plenty? Or should I jump to the 200A HW platinum?

Hello guys thought I would
Ask here. So finally Got the FBL in and setup. When going full negative stick and back elevator the linkage runs into the elevator bell crank. I obviously can decrease throw but then the IKON won’t be happy. Last resort is bending the linkage so it won’t run into crank, only fear is after bending it if the linkage May not have enough threads since I will need to lengthen them.

Ya thats what I figured. After doing more tinkering I saw that the IKON had a cyclic ring that I was able to manipulate to get it to work without affecting anything else. It was un the advance menu.

Scorpion, Xnova, Hacker, Align. Most folks I know fly those. (I run Scorpion and Xnova motors in my scale helicopters)

It’s the brand Roban now endorses and recommends on their website. If you go to scaleflying.de you will see them. They look very well built motors. What sold me was they make these motors specifically for these Roban helis.

One thing to consider when shopping for motors for the Roban 700-800 mechanics: Keep the motor diameter to 50mm or less, like 49.5 to 49.6mm. Anything larger and you will lose the ability to properly tension the belt (a 55mm motor will leave you no wiggle room and the belt will be too tight).
