Trump just saved the US from coronavirus, but can he save us from Democrats On March 28, 2020, FDA issued an EUA to allow hydroxychloroquine sulfate and chloroquine phosphate products donated to the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) to be distributed and used for certain hospitalized patients with COVID-19. |

Xterra Be careful where you get your info from dilb A renowned research professor in France has reported successful results from a new treatment for Covid-19, with early tests suggesting it can stop the virus from being contagious in just six days.Professor Didier Raoult from infection hospital l'Institut Hospitalo-Universitaire (IHU) Méditerranée Infection in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur), published a video explaining the trials on Monday March 16.
Professor Raoult is an infectious diseases specialist and head of the IHU Méditerranée Infection, who has been tasked by - and consulted by - the French government to research possible treatments of Covid-19. He said that the first Covid-19 patients he had treated with the drug chloroquine had seen a rapid and effective speeding up of their healing process, and a sharp decrease in the amount of time they remained contagious. https://www.connexionfrance.com/Fre...g-trial-results An effective treatment for #Coronavirus #COVID-19 has been found in a common anti-malarial drugIn consultation with Stanford University School of Medicine, UAB School of Medicine and National Academy of Sciences researchers.Recent guidelines from South Korea and China report that chloroquine is an effective antiviral therapeutic treatment against Coronavirus Disease 2019. Use of chloroquine (tablets) is showing favorable outcomes in humans infected with Coronavirus including faster time to recovery and shorter hospital stay. US CDC research shows that chloroquine also has strong potential as a prophylactic (preventative) measure against coronavirus in the lab, while we wait for a vaccine to be developed. Conclusion
Chloroquine can both both prevent and treat malaria. Chloroquine can prevent and treat coronavirus in primate cells (Figure 1 and Figure 2). According to South Korean and China human treatment guidelines, chloroquine is effective in treating COVID-19. Given chloroquine’s human safety profile and existence, it can be implemented today in the U.S., Europe and the rest of the world. From Facebook, Dr. Roy Spencer adds this new information.- Anthony On the subject of using antimalarial drugs for COVID-19 treatment, I’ve compared COVID-19 cases versus malaria incidence by country…. This is amazing. I downloaded all of the data for 234 countries, incidence of total COVID-19 cases (as of 3/17/2020) versus the incidence of malaria in those countries (various sources, kinda messy matching everything up in Excel). RESULTS, Multi-country average malaria cases per thousand, COVID-19 cases per million, in three classes of countries based on malaria incidence: Top 40 Malaria countries: 212 malaria = 0.2 COVID-19; Next 40 Malaria countries: 7.3 malaria = 10.1 COVID-19 Remaining (81-234) countries: 0.00 malaria = 68.7 COVID-19 Again, the units are Malaria cases per thousand “population at risk”, and COVID-19 cases per million total population.https://wattsupwiththat.com/2020/03...-malarial-drug/ |

Dude I know the senior author of the paper Personally (Didier). I also do not understand why he published the study. Well, he also published the controversial MIMIVIRE, so. Read the paper and we can then discuss why it is not definitive proof. That's why the French paper did not get published in top 5 scientific journal.
The map in the link you provided is not proof either. You would need to look at the incidence data. You think in Africa everybody is taking chloroquine 24/7? CID is a top 5 journal on infectious diseases. We do not have trials that can answer that question. Read the paper I provided so you can see the issues with the drug. I am not sayin the drug does not work in infected patients. What I am saying is that there are no studies answering that question. I truly believe it won't have any significant effect among severa cases. I might be wrong, I actually hope I am wrong. Stratus Raptor 50V2 T-rex SE T-rex CDE T-rex 250 SC Kyosho M24 |

Correlation does not mean causation We are not even sure if those countries are doing any surveillance. We have issues with testing in the States, imagine Congo, Chad or Cameroon. Again, no clinical trials no definitive answer.
The post-exposure prophylaxis approach will likely render good results. If you have ever been exposed to HAV, the IgG prophylaxis and more recently vaccination give good results. Stratus Raptor 50V2 T-rex SE T-rex CDE T-rex 250 SC Kyosho M24 |

Xterra Correlation does not mean causation “This ensures continued treatment of patients who have been treated for several years for a chronic condition with this drug, but also allows a temporary authorization to allow certain patients with coronavirus to benefit from this therapeutic route,” said France’s director general of health Jérôme Salomon.https://www.dailywire.com/news/fran...ithin-five-days |

Just about everybody has approved it Again, till the trials are conducted, we do not have a definitive answer. I also believe that the direct acting drugs will be the therapy going forward and once the trails are completed.Stratus Raptor 50V2 T-rex SE T-rex CDE T-rex 250 SC Kyosho M24 |

BMJ reports https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/324...+bmj&from_pos=2https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/324...+bmj&from_pos=3Again, someone should hit the prez on the head every time he starts playing doctor. This is serious and misinforming the public might generate all sort of issues.
I also believe that our views on politics should not blind us. The prez is not doing anyone a favor "promoting" the use of HC, I cringe every time he goes on record. I truly do not understand what he is trying to accomplish........ Now, the French authors of the first report will need to respond many questions. The scientific community will never forget it. The journal that published the work, managing editor and reviewers, will be asked plenty of questions in the near future too. Stratus Raptor 50V2 T-rex SE T-rex CDE T-rex 250 SC Kyosho M24 |
