Xterra, I can appreciate your position as some type of medical professional, but this is more that a medical Pandemic. This is a political pandemic causing a rift right through our country dividing it in half. It is obvious to a blind person the democrats are perpetuating this just as far as they can. When someone is arrested in the ocean for wind surfing or a mother is arrested for playing with her child out doors it is political. When they lock the doors of restrooms and place porta-poties outside the restrooms with no way to wash your hands it is political. The democrats are making a Blatant effort to disrupt as many lives as they can. They pass a stimulus bill with soo much pork in it such as millions going to the Kennedy center it is political. When the CDC cannot figure out if we should wear masks and states they were mistaken about being mistaken it is political. Now they are saying this virus cannot be transmitted by inanimate objects and dies in the suns UV rays they shut down many parks and oceans pools it is political.

I do not have a problem with the medical aspect in fact I am traveling to NIH in Bethesda MD. next week. I am against all of the political pandemic we the American people are being subject to. it is a obvious and the nose on your face.

I have a saying when you own a backhoe, your yard is full of holes. That means when your are a medical professional all you can see is the medical side of this pandemic. Medical people are not economics majors and I am not either. BUT we cannot shut down the entire 'countries economic system' for almost a full year until the presidential election is over. I am hoping the democrats are pissing enough people off we are going to be a guaranteed to get a red wave. People are not completely stupid to see what they are doing. This is destroying more lives in the collateral damage. We are going to win the battle but lose the war in the end.

Agree, we can't keep the country closed. I would like to see the guys at the helm issuing guidance so we can go back to our new normality, whatever that is. Georgia seems to be doing fine. I am hoping the summer might help us a bit too.
In the meantime I am going back to do my part, that's the only thing I can control.
As I always say, Be good, be safe, have fun. Life is too damn short.
PS. I have never seen anything like this in my career. I always considered influenza a mean bug. Well, this covid thing took meanness to the Jedi level.

Well (It is a deep subject) I think I nailed it from the start! The Corona thing is BS! I do not have access to all of the news articles on this computer that prove my points. If you need them I will go out and find them again. The CDC admitted they were cooking the books on the numbers. They admitted they were inflating the numbers counting murdered people and the numbers of flu deaths dropped to zero. The suicide rate tripled. 30-40 million people are unemployed. Masks do nothing and the virus does not spread on hard surfaces. The deaths in NY are attributed to moving CV patients into nursing homes. The death rate in Texas is .005%. Hospitals are closing due to lack of patients. The death rate in children is 0 / 100,000

The WHO has now been defunded for being a political hack for the Chinese communist party. We were contributing 450M to the WHO when China was contributing 40M. The CV task force has been shown to be guessing on every thing what was predicted like the death rate being 4.0% when in reality is just a fraction of that. They kept changing their minds on how to navigate what turned out to be a political pandemic.

Now do not get me wrong people do die and the medical professionals (You know who you are) have been exposed to it on a daily basis, still need to take cautions. Would I want to work there NO! (But I did work in the petrochemical market and many people died in my line of work and I had draconian safety measures, I had to take every single day I went to work) And still do. I had to wear a hard hat, steel toed boots, FRC clothing, wear monogoggles, carry a respirator and an 5 min emergency escape bottle. for 8-16 hours a day. (I also had to wear hearing protection, but still lost my hearing)

This (political pandemic) is going to go down in history as the single greatest farce ever pulled on the American public. I think it will be viewed as a test to see how many Constitutional Rights can be taken away from the American public. Every day some politician tries to stretch the imagination of stupidity, such and putting yellow barrier tape across a swing set and jungle gym and sent police out to arrest the group of family's that removed it. The officer in the video has a tat "WE THE PEOPLE" Hitler needed many of the cops we have today! We have always said when(Not if) the SHTF the police will have common sense and not enforce illegal laws. This theory has been disproven in the past few months seeing a mother put in hand cuffs in front of her daughter at an empty play ground for violating an illegal stay at home order. Mind you not a law, a directive (Big difference)

If you may notice the CV pandemic has been cured apparently in the past 3 days by looters not wearing face masks or social distancing in the news media.

I used to think I lived in the greatest country in the world ever, due to the number of people that tried to break into it every year trying to support their families. But then politicians arrest, fine and put in jail a nail salon owner that is just trying to support her family, or take away a barbers license from a 78 year old barber.

This country has turned completely up-side-down and is full of sheeple that are afraid to walk around without a mask to protect them from a political pandemic. Masks first of all do nothing for the general public medically and absolutely nothing politically.

It turns out I could have saved this entire country 3 months of heartache by buying every Man, Woman & child a set of ear plugs.

We still have been registering more than 1000 deaths per day. CDC was not "cooking" data. Some local public state labs were not distinguishing between serological and molecular testing. CDC collects data provided locally and publish it. The total count is affected but it is Significantly underestimated to begging with. Regardless, that is a big mistake. The number of deaths and severe cases is not affected though. I agree the response from the task force has been far from perfect. We were just not well prepared for this thingy. Nobody in the world was. This is not an issue affecting ol' USA exclusively. Countries like Peru, Spain and Italy implemented much more aggressive control measures. Main stream news are only following the new big thing. In this country we are still fighting COVID, Influenza, Hepatitis among many others regardless of what you see in the new. Just because it is not in the news, it does not mean we are not fighting Ebola and Polio outside the States.
Pilots and refrigeration people (you know who you are) do not make good Epidemiologists or Economists. As I always say, mean bugs look pretty harmless from your armchair. Monday morning Epidemiologists are a dime a dozen
