Help with new (old) setup
I've been out of the hobby for awhile, but due to recent events am shut in for awhile. Trying to finish a project I started a few years back. I have a B400 that I installed the Blade Flybarless Conversion Kit on. I have installed a Mini K-Bar with an AR610 receiver. Upgraded all servos to EMAX ES09MD's. I have a Spektrum DX8G2 for a radio. I've never done flybarless before. I have the VStabi program and cord to connect the K-Bar, but the K-Bar came with absolutely no instructions. Bumbling though with Google, I have it all hooked up now.

Is there a setup sheet to program the radio? Does that need to be done prior to using the various YouTube videos to set the helicopter up? I'm pretty lost here and would appreciate any help or direction you guys could point me in. Hope all is well with you and yours in these screwed up times. Andy

Most of the time, FBL gyros don't require complex setup on transmitters.

Every instructions is doing on the FBL controller via software pc or by pushing buttons or checking leds on the FBL controller.

In your case, follow the PC program. I recommend, read carefully before doing the setup.
By the time you got confused, share with us your observations.

Be careful with electric motor setup by disconnecting cables from it.

One thing is binding your spektrum gadget and other thing is to program the FBL gyro.

Yep, motor is unplugged. I read that the heli has to be set up mechanically first (servo arms at 90, pushrods all adjusted, swash level). Creat a model in radio, bind it, then plug FB controller into PC and go through each tab. Sure appreciate your response.

Since the KBar is a direct rip-off of the Mikado VBar hardware and software, most of the setup can be done by reading the documentation for the VBar.+ > ÷

I've got a bunch of the original K Bar instructions and a bunch of set up stuff that was posted back when those first became available. PM me your email and I will forward them on.

The older I get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.
