ticedoff8 The Dow has erased all the gains for the last 3 years.
I wish all the mistakes that have been made by the Trump administration could be erased as easily.
Really? You going to go there?

I agree 100%. I wish Trump would shut the F up and let the adults in the room run the COVID-19 response.

And it's your belief we'd all be better off if Hillary was running the show? Markets would have risen even more than they did? Markets would not have seen the same sell off? Are you suggesting this flu never would have happened to a Democrat? Maybe you're saying the markets would have risen the same for Hillary, crashed the same for Hillary, the flu would have bloomed the same for Hillary but she would have found some better solution?

There is a flu. People are getting sick. It's hurting markets and economies. You brought Trump into the conversation. Are you saying he is responsible for these events? Are saying Hillary would have been a better person to handle the job?

Great explanation video Mark ,, good find .To bad so many young think only of themselves today and will not follow the public contact and gathering advice ,, as evidenced by spring break pictures .They don't think they will get this ,, but in truth they get it and are healthy enough to fight it off ,, but still carry it and spread it to others .. which will probably make the curve very high indeed. Such a shame that most of today's young generation have never been taught to respect others , let alone the laws of the land !!!

Edit .. didn't finish my thoughts ,, until Exterra commented. I got swept up in the last TV news broadcast I saw . I know plenty of people my age that don't follow the suggestions either ,, we are just as guilty and should be wiser ..
Stay at home if you can and think and stay safe ,, everyone !!

Of old, stubborn, selfish people around too. The young at least have the excuse of being young and inexperienced. Older people should know better. Sadly, not the case in many instances despite the overwhelming amount of information available at the tips of our finger.
Sigh ..........
Stay home, stay safe
PS. I am in no way justifying the behavior of either age group. Shameful regardless of age.

Correct Exterra !!! Plenty of old people disrespecting the guidelines around to ,, we are just older and sneaker about it and it doesn't end up on a TV news channel
P.S. I too didn't mean to single out a certain generation to condemn ,, but re - reading what I wrote ,, I did . Sorry !!

Xterra [Plenty] Of old, stubborn, selfish people around too.
I am old and I have questioned what we are doing. To be clear, I live in a small southern town and almost by definition, we self quarantine. We don't have large groups or attractions like most larger cities. I haven't been out of the driveway in 4 days not because of the virus - I haven't been out of the driveway because this is a small town. Where am I going to go? Walmart?

Further, my airline is shut down and I can't work even if I wanted to. I don't know why I'm questioning this because I get paid ether way. When people decide they want to go back to Germany, I'll be here. Until then I'll "Stay home, stay safe". Other than a misplaced Irish Catholic work ethic, I don't know why I'm questioning this. If selfishness were driving this I'd be pulling for this to last another 6 months. I'll see you in the fall.
Xterra Older people should know better. The young at least have the excuse of being young and inexperienced.
How should older people know better? What in their experience could have prepared them for current events? In my six decades on the planet nothing like this has happened. EVER. I don't understand it and I certainly don't expect younger folks to.

This is what a self quarantine looks like in Mississippi.

Well, I was hoping that if the top scientist on infectious Disease in the country, who has held office since the 80s serving under 6 different presidents, is telling you to stay home, old people would say, I better stay home. Now, I am not a pilot, but if Sully tells me don't ride 737 Maxs you bet I would listen and stay grounded.
You are right, common sense is not that common.
Cheers!
PS. Glad to know your airline canceled flights to Germany. Nice place you got there. Enjoy while grounded.

No one can tell when this corona virus/pandemic is gonna end. But for now there’s nothing we can do but to take care of ourselves by staying home. Be safe everyone.

We also need to be checking on neighbors by a phone call or text ... old and young to make sure they are healthy / alive and see if they need necessities of life as this pandemic stretches out .Especially ones that live alone and those in our family.I have a son in Ca. and it is o.k. for him as he works from home anyhow ... but is not married and I worry about him some .Larry C ----------Bergen R/C helicopters
