Online Checkout
I created an account on Hobby Town and Amain Hobbies, are these two companies associated together?

The online checkout is the same and both sites auto recognize my email addy.

Times have changed ... getting hit with taxes.

I don't know anything about "Hobby Town"
I use A-Main for 90% of all my helicopter needs. They are based in Chico California.

A quick Google search on "Hobby Town" has a web site: https://www.hobbytown.com/
It says they are based in Lincoln, NE
When I open their page, my AMain log in details are NOT stored. So, I would assume that you are using an old PC and you logged into those sites at some point in the past.
But, they appear to have actual brick and motor hobby shops in some parts of the country.

I would also recommend Horizon Hobby: https://www.horizonhobby.com/

It must have been a long time since you've been shopping for anything online.
Any and all online shops have to charge sales tax now.

Yes, it is the same. Also flitetest.com and heliproz. When you are on Amain’s site there is a button for local pickup. Click it and it’ll tell you if the local Hobbytown has that part in stock. Kind of nice if you have a well stocked Hobbytown near you. I’ve never bought doll houses or Magic the Gathering cards, so the local option always comes up empty for me.Nick Crego
