Last 2 items for setup
I realize it has been a few months. Just need to setup the governor and banks on a switch on IX12. I found a post where it explains how to enter advanced mode and get this setup on a 3 position switch. Has anyone see this post?

Thanks in advance.

I've setup a Ikon2 BT HD with DX8 G2. I have my banks (flying styles) on a 3 position switch that I can select any 3 of the flying styles setups.

The below is going by memory; detail explanation upon request.

On the radio Advance menu assign your Aux (x) channel to switch.

If memory serves me correct, also check the Function menu on the radio (Digital Switches).

On the Ikon sofware, goto to Advance menu, RECEIVER. Scroll to the lists and assign the channel on the drop down menu to match your radio switch setup.

Go back to the wizard page and on the top ROWS of icons click on the icon for the various flying styles.

You can select different flying styles, Beginner, Sport, Acro in any order just by the radio's 3 position switch. On this page, top row click on the flying style of choice, followed by the 2nd row then 3rd row.

On your radio, toggle your switch that you assigned to the Aux (x) channel and Switch lettering.

Toggle the switch to each position and you should see the results on the Ikon software. On my setup, I have the 3 position switch back/up (towards the antennae) for Beginner, center switch position Sport and down Acro. You can have any order by also reversing the channel in the servo menu, reverse.

Others have assigned the flying styles to the Idle Up switch. Since this is my first Ikon setup, I assigned the flying style to another switch. This way, I can toggle to different flying modes until I fine tune to my desire. I can then reassigned the flying style to the idle up switch.

In my case

I'm curious if you solved your software 100%/100% calibration and what was the cause.

Typically you would adjust your radio end points to get a 100%/100% value on the Ikon software.

I'm wondering if your issue stems from an incorrect selection prior to getting to the calibration page. For example, not having the right swash plate configuration on the Transmitter radio. It should be set to Normal Swash Plate, single servo input (like the old days, 1 servo for each control surface).

Limit issues
The issue was following an older video with newer software/GUI interface, I restarted with a new model and followed the wizard only. I was reversing channels at the wrong time. Not sure why, but reversing channels moved the center point off center.

Using a new FBL (from Skookums to IKON/Brain), new ESC (Scorpion) and new radio has me all over the place.

I want banks for the same reason as you. Going try your suggestions.
This and the governor are last steps before a maiden.
Thanks for the help.

Yes those were the good O'l Raptor days and Truely Greatful and Honored to have been a part of Team Raptor.

I have at least 5 NIB scale fuselages that I want to get in the air. Working on designing how to convert to electrics. Research has shown no parts availability.

Glad to know you supported Thunder Tiger and your countless parts inventory.

Getting back into Hobby
I hear ya. It's a struggle to get back to the constant wrenching.
My TTs were the E 720's and 820's. Still feel that from that era the E 720 was a genius electric helicopter and the RAVE ENV was the best nitro. Have an N7 that I built and maidened, but never tuned or put flights on. Was supposed to meet my heli wife (other heli pilot) at field today and get one back in the air, but daughter is sick.

** On another note. Got the switches lined up to switch the Recovery mode (aux 1) and move (banks)Aux 2 on tab 5. But won't change the banks on tab 13. Have something crossed up on either the reciver tab or in the transmitter screen for the rx port assignment.

Some success
Got the banks operating and the governor programmed in the Ikon.

It’s changes speeds with flight mode in the software. Rand on the bench with out blades and it seemed to work. Went outside to try a test flight. Did preflight checks and spoiled it up. Governor wouldn’t reach takeoff speed in any mode.
Try to reboot it and try again. Nope. Took it to the bench and removed blades. Switched change the modes and speeds in GUI but not in a test run without blades. I will have to check the setup in the Scorpion ESC. This is very frustrating. It’s a commander 160 opto. Any suggestions?

Thanks for help so far.

Clarifications
A number of members mentioned to follow the Wizard step by step. This and the advanced menu were the key to my issues. The dated videos with older GUIs and new radio compounded the confusion of setting up a new FBL.
The IKON2 is as promised easy to setup and flew nearly perfect with stock settings. Only needed a small drop of tail gain to end a small oscillation of the tail when flying in higher winds. (our field is right by the Miss River. Evenings get windy.)
The bluetooth function and phone app are very useful at the field,

In order of importance to setup this FBL/radio combo.
1) follow the IKON wizard and read the notes about channel assignments.**in the notes aux channels must use mentioned outputs in software.
(the older videos will confuse you. C. Sextons gov video is of some use with new GUI)

2) Horizon videos on the IX12 will help with the menu issues.

3) Follow Girard Ibanez's post on the aux switch assignments in Advanced menu.

**Thanks again to RR community. I really needed a win in the column for this year.
