Hydrimax 9.6volt, 2000mah, Nimh. Good evening,
I have two of these that I've just gotten around to recharging since Dorian. One of them recharged with no issue, however, the other would only reach 10.5 volts when my charger (EV-Peak CD2) would indicate "Full" and refuse to charge further. The first pack would finish at 11.5-12 volts and be just warm when the charger would finish. The manufacturer says standard charge is 200mah for 11 hours. I've tried both increased and lower charge settings but to no avail. I cycled it once to see if there would be any improvement but still the same result. I've now resorted to using my Futaba wall charger (9.6 volt, 70mah) and it has reached 11.1 volts after several hours according to the transmitter's indicator. I bought these at Grave's RC about two years ago. Should I just chuck it and get another or pursue charging/discharging and see if it comes back? |

/You better get a new pack. One cell is out.The only way to pursuit with a charge/discharge procedure is open the pack and locate the "bad" cell and of course, do all the job on this particular cell./ |
