Dry run on the retracts. I used a microswitch to delay the doors operating til the gear is tucked away. Its not exactly how it works on the full-size, but close enough. Doors are on a separate servo and a servo slowing unit was used to slow the mains to a realistic looking speed.

I've been wanting to build an S76 for a long time but just can't find a fuselage anywhere. Started looking into building a plug for a 600 size, then either look for someone to make a mold or do that myself as well. I was trying to figure out how I would make the rear retracts but seeing yours makes it look a lot less complex. Ingenious. Can't wait to see the final result.

Yeah its a rare find in a 600 or 700 size and there are still a few of the big scalejet fuses that pop up occasionally but be prepared to pay a good sum for those. i also have a 600 size that i will copy some day when i gewt the time. i need to learn that fiberglass molding stuff too and have done a few smaller projects with great success. working my way up to that fuselage.
as for the one i am building, its coming along but its been on the back burner for now while i work on the agusta 109, one of 5 helis i am currently and simultaneously building.
