If Motion was to check the manual for the EC they would discover that it calls for a minimum 8Kg tail servo which is 282 oz. |

I have learned when it comes to fenestron. Buy the fastest strongest servo you can get your hands on, just to have a chance at a successful build. After that comes the intimate relationship with the mechanics to rid of as much binding as possible.Team Pilot for Bavarian Demon, AeroPanda, Xpert RC USA |

I own the roban EC 135 and have had some problems & success with the heli, the pictures posted of the fenestron mech. I see a problem with it (the ends of the blade holder that are pushed by the pitch plate are not beveled or rounded.) I purchased mine in dec.of 2017 and my ends are beveled ,I do use a high torque servo MKS 599 also I made some modifications . |

I saw the pictures that seems complicated by if it works more power to you. I totally took my fenestron apart and discovered some of the bearings were bad. I ordered new bearings from Boca bearing these bearings are much better I also took the brass bushings out and replaced them with bearings. I’ll see if I can post some pictures later . |

Also when did you purchase your Heli (EC -135)? I purchased mine before motion took roban sales over. |

When I took the fenny apart. I had some screws that were stripped. So I had to grind the heads off to get the rotor cap off. |

yes I saw that in the picture I'm new to RR I'm going to see if I can post some pictures. to me that fenestron they sold you is defective. those pins on the ends of the blade holders should have came beveled. when I first test flew mine the tail would not hold. I thought I had set it up wrong so I called RC aerodyne they told me I needed a tail servo at least 280 something in/oz torque. the servo I have now (HBL599 MKS) has 42-cm @ 8.2 V witch is almost 600 in/ounce. the speed 0.08s at 8.2v . |

I called motions technical support and they said I needed a 67oz servo for the tail and get rid of my 320 oz servo. They had no offer of compensation. I enjoyed the conversion very much and she flys great now. But I always wonder if a 500 oz servo was the answer? |

The high torque is not the total answer, the fen blades need more left pitch. there's a youtube video out there that shows how to do that it's pretty simple and if you have the older twisted they need to be changed to the newer ones. I was able to get a total of 35 degrees more pitch 15+ degrees right 20+ degrees left. |
