700 class heli on 6s
hi there,
has anyone tried a 700 class heli (logo600se) on 6s? 690mm blades and 1800 rpm? if so, how did you like it and which esc have you used?
thanks.

I have tried my 12S Logo 600SE on one 6S pack. Started at 1250 rpm but at the end of the flight it was down to 1150 rpm. It flies OK but not a lot of power. It is kind of lethargic. Also the Logo you can’t speed up the tail for low speed flight. It’s OK.

The Logo 600 SE flies great on 12 S at about 1400 to 1500 rpm and up.

I'm running a 6s motor, not a 12s. I can run higher rpms. The problem is the esc being able or not to deliver the current. Anyways, it doesn't matter anymore. I have just crashed the heli. I was testing it with aggressive pitch pumps. At the end of the flight a sudden jerk and a crash. The impression at the moment was that a swash plate link disconnected, but, after collecting the pieces, the Bec isn't working anymore. Could it be the culprit or is it another casualty of the crash? This heli has been an issue after the other. Do you guys believe in curses? That Tutankhamun thing? I'm starting to believe it.

I have a Synergy E5 stretched to a 700 running a 6S motor. I have a Kosmik 200 ESC.
I generally fly this machine as a low HS ship but it will do 1850 HS. At the higher HS the amps are quite high with 180 being common. Flying like that means short flight times and can be hard on batteries

Sorry to hear about your crash while testing..

My TDR flys on 6s or 8s... mostly 6s. Top rpm is 1200 on 6s5000 and i get about 8 mins of flight time. Flying such low headspeed is a great test of collective management skills. It can do most the maneuvers that guys do at 2000 HS, just slower.

700 runs ok with 6s but... You have to take into account that lipo packs most be higher C as you can get.

If you run the motor with lower C, your lipo pack get Hot, inflated and get on fire soon.

Trex 700 should work OK with a motor of 3 HP or 2300 watts.

If you run 6s, 22.2 volts, 2300 watts divides by 22.2 is 100 Amps... Enough!!!
