Well I don't know for certain but I believe he is out of the "hobby" and more focused on Unmaned Aerial Systems. I don't believe you will see him at contests or funflys. My understanding is that he sold his helicopter business. Many of his final designs are still available for purchase here --> https://www.droneshelis.com/nd-yr7-k1002.html

Imagine doing those moves in today’s 3D competition, you wouldn’t even be placed in the top 10.
Although being able to do those moves would be enough for me.

I remember going to Mass to see him back around 2004, man he did these barrel rolls right in front of me, man I tell you I thought the blade tips would hit the grass, even the ground. but the thing is it looked like he was doing 90mph when doing them, to me, because he did them so fast, that was the coolest maneuver I have ever seenJim

In RC modeling, it is difficult to find folks who know this three corners... Even pros!

Corner one
Being a good pilot!

Corner two
Being a good mechanic!

Corner three
Being a good teacher.

Very few of us can cover this three corners...

It was easy for Mr Youngblood to cover this important aspects of our sport!

Saludos cordiales,
