SSL or SSL-II Headspeed
What head speed are you using with SSL or SSL-II FBL head for hover and high idle?

Metal rotors...
Hover rpm? It is not depend on rotors.

Metal rotors are intented to work Till 3000 rpm... Even more... Glow is one thing and electric is other World...
Your blades are the weakness point.

I believe Hirobo have always stated 2000 as a limit for their products, anything more being pointless and dangerous.

I’m not sure what others are using but I’ve found the Hirobo FBL heads happy in the 1400-1800 range.

Thanks Paul for your reply. On my Hirobo Eagles with FB heads I use 1475 for hover, 1650 for idle up 1 and 1750 for idle up 2. I was thinking about using the same with SSL heads. Thanks for your input. And yes, I agree with the 2000 limit. Have a great day!

I usually stick with the ole fashion 1800. I did 1500 when I tried the OS GT15 gasser.

Are you suggesting 1800 for all idle up conditions and hover or just for high idle? What were the negatives you experienced at 1500 if any? Any wobble?

I ran 1800 for everything. I must add I'm not a crazy 3D flyer. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary on 1500. Didn't get to do a lot because of the motor. It never lasted. Bad design.
