No. It's the rocks that crawl. It's like turtle racing but with rocks.

Kidding aside, I've watched the rock crawling hobby grow in the car market. They look fun to build and run but what do you really do with them? Are there contests? Shows? Do you just drive it around the living room at family get-togethers?

I've owned a lot of cars but it's always centered around racing. I never run a car(s) - unless there is someone to run it against.

Got any pictures?

Kidding all good Sir,
There are several Competitions around the world,I mostly stay around Louisana and Mississippi for events. Its not near as hard as flying RC Helicopters but good family fun. The show and shine events are very nice as some of the truck are extremely realistic and very expensive.
Have fun Ya'll!

I did pick up some Rock Crawlers over the years. I had a small course at the house for the 1/24 scale.

These rock crawlers are amazing! If they were upscaled into an actual vehicular size, I bet we'd get legitimate car parts out of them. Heck, even the tires look like the very durable ones I buy off 4WheelOnline.
