Graupner FBL
Is anyone using one with the latest software? How's the setup with the transmitter?
Have to replace an Ikon and was thinking about trying one.

The setup is easy right through the TX or Hott box. Just remember that the instructions suck but you will figure it out. I've done 3 electric models and the only beef I have with it is there are no provisions to save the setup for archive later. You can't copy the model setup to a memory slot with the FBL info and you will have to resort to crayons and paper for setup notes. Make sure you update the Falcon RX to the latest firmware via the Graupner Studio. Once you get used to the routine a setup is very quick.

The MZ-16/32 is much easier than an MZ-24 Pro because of the way that the Telemetry software is written in the TX but just to be clear the Pro still works fine.

Thanks for the insight.
I just ordered one. I agree the graupner instructions aren't the best in general. I had a rough time going from a 9303 to an MZ-24 with that manual. But now I've got it sorted and really enjoy the system.
Looking forward to seeing how it flys.
