JR DSMJ v. JR DMSS Protocol? Good Day.
I fly all my planes with my JR 11X Zero transmitter with a JR DMSS module in works 100% no problem. I need to get more DMSS receivers but they are very expensive in South Africa. I have the opportunity now to get my hands on another JR 11X Zero with a DSMJ module in, and lots of receivers. I have done some homework and so far no one can tell me that DMSS is better than DSMJ. Ok I know that DSMJ was only intended for the Japanese marked I think but it looks like it ended up world wide. I know you don’t get the DSMJ receiver new any more but I can still get some good second-hand ones. I spoke to some rc pilots in South Africa that use the DSMJ protocol and they still fly there turbines jets with DSMJ and only went over to DMSS just because the DSMJ receivers are no longer produce. Both the DSMJ and DMSS protocols are frequency hopping. My question is : Are the DSMJ as reliable as the DMSS system regarding signal quality and…… I don’t mind the extra hardware like the satellite receivers. I will appreciate some advice regarding this matter. Thank You Regards |
