Nominations for most comfortable radio?
My old DX7se fit me like a glove, but it recently died and ordered a DX8. Yuck! It feels like I’m holding a brick and it’s not ergonomical at all.

Not really tied to spektrum so any recommendations are welcome

My old JR 9303. Spacing and layout between switches and gimbals was just about perfect for me. I must admit I've spent more than a minute thinking about fitting one with more current electronics.

I have the 9503... same as above. Best feeling Tx along with my 8103 from back in the day.
I do fly Vbar Control and though its not nearly as good, I don't really notice once I get flying.

My old JR12x that I still use for anything DSMX. Even after dropping it years back from about 4 feet and landing on the face it still works and nothing broken.

I wish I could put my V-control into that 12x case. I can’t even fly the V-control without a neck strap.

The Frsky Taranis X9D case is a copy of the old 9303. Fits great just like the original. I don’t use it for my helis (planes and quads only, helis are on Vcontrol), but it’s a great radio system.Nick Crego

JR XG14 is my personal preference. I also loved the old DX7 and never felt comfortable with the newer Spektrum stuff.Team Synergy / Rail Blades / Morgan Fuel

I have both the JR 28X and XG14, both of them are comfortable to me. I do fly with a neck strap.

Nothing felt as comfortable as my old JR 10X. The Graupner MZ24 is a close 2nd. Flying a Vcontrol now though.

For me the futaba 18sz has been the most comfortable. I find as soon as my plane or helicopter takeoff I forget all about how comfortable the radio is. So I dont really care anymore. I have flown friends jetis, hitecs, spektrums, Jrs, futabas and once I am in the air I dont care. The goal is to have fun and safely land the bird.

Yea for the price of the 18mz, it better be comfortable! Sides are shaped very similarly to the Vcontrol.

Would probably depend if you thumb or pinch. I pinch so I prefer boxy radios. X9303, V control all free great to me. The Jr11x was too rounded and I couldn’t place my hands comfortably on it.Heli-itis sufferer.

I'm flying an MZ-24 Pro now and I like the gimbals and where they sit on the radio. I very much like the radio overall but can't get used to the switch placement
