I would guess it would have to be .... otherwise you wouldn’t be able to adjust gear mesh ....Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

No they are not adjustable like all Align helis. With a bit of Dremeling or filing you could slot the frames to get some fore-aft movement. If it's a lower headspeed for longer flights you are looking for you can just run the stock setup on 10s or even 8s.60% of the time, it works every time!
